EUROPE COMING TOGETHER: ERASMUS K2 "ACTIVATE"

Last week, we were pleased to have some students and teachers from three different countries: Poland (4 students and 3 teachers), Turkey (6 students and 4 teachers) and Latvia (4 students and 2 teachers) as part of the Erasmus K2 Project Activate. The Project started this academic year, and it will last till 2019.

We met for the first time in Poland, and last week, here in Villafranca de Córdoba, was our second meeting. It went all fine, and the students were able to put into practice some of the activities organized by different departments at the school. I list here some of these activities:

a) The did some math-based games (two sessions) with our colleague Paco Rojas.

b) They also enjoyed some music activities with Paula Ramos and Conchi Quesada. They played the "rain game" and some other interactive activities.

c) They joined some of the cultural week activities: the English Play, the Music Instruments Exhibition, the Science Experiments Lab, the Planetarium and the Sport games class.

As for social activities, having lunch together at school was nice, where families, students and teachers were doing it all together. Visiting the Old Town in Córdoba was also great, and the farewell dinner was also wonderful.

We are already looking forward for the upcoming meetings for our kids to have the chance to get to know new and different people and cultures.
